hey guys wanted to know Should I go for a 4GB GDDR5 AMD® Radeon™ HD6990 graphics card or a Dual 2GB AMD Radeon™ HD 6950 CrossfireX™ which one would be best for gaming like playing BF3 on ULTRA.|||Radeon™ HD 6990 is bit more than 2x(Radeon™ HD 6950) and almost equal to 2x(Radeon™ HD 6970)
So Radeon™ HD 6990 will perform better in most cases.. when you use Crossfire or SLI.. You also need its profile for the game. Using single most powerful card will save you from SLI or Crossfire hassles.
You can also consider going for GTX 590, because MSI and Gigabyte has really good makes for that one.. but at the end both cards are at cutting edge.
These profiles do exists for biggest game releases like BF3, Skyrim and all, but will leave you frustrated when you play a bit old or unsupported games from small publishers.|||4GB GDDR5 AMD® Radeon™ HD6990 graphics card...
